TCR Officers

Current officers (elected 2-10-09; new Chair and Vice Chair elected 5-11-2010) — please feel free to contact them with any questions, issues, or suggestions.

New County Chair (Curt elected from Vice Chair to Chair) and Vice Chair elected 5-11-2010, after the resignation of Mark Sievers as Chair following the Teller County Assembly.  Mark did a great job but was ready for a break.  We thank him for his service!

 

  County ChairCurt Grina

Curt chairs the Colorado Committee of Heritage and is a respected leader in national conservative groups.  He led the project to build the Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, was chosen by the Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce for the prestigious “Wagon Boss Award”  of 2008, and lives in Woodland Park.

 

 

 

 

County Vice ChairTom Pohrte

Tom grew up in Colorado and is a graduate of Glenwood Springs High School.  After a stint in the Navy,  Tom worked in the IT industry and has taught electronics, part-time, at a community college for 20 years.  Tom has owned property in Teller County since 2000 and moved back “home” to Colorado two years ago.  He is now very active in Republican politics.

  County SecretaryDavid Turley

Dave has been a resident of Teller County for 16 of the past 22 years.  After serving his country at the national level in the Washington, DC area for 32+ years, Dave is now bringing his experience, leadership, integrity, and conservative views to our local community.  Dave resides in Woodland Park.

  County TreasurerCarol Clark

Carol and husband Gerry have called Teller County home for 23 years.  She became an active Conservative Republican as a teen when honored to represent Michigan at Girl’s State and Girl’s Nation.  Now a retired SPED teacher and consultant for the hearing impaired, she is focused on being an involved GOP conservative.  Latest accomplishment was opening the first Teller County Republican HQ for the 2008 election, and is now one of the leaders for the Teller County Liberty Bell HQ.
